Experienced Mechanical Site Engineer Required for Western Australian Projects

About the Role:
This is an opportunity to join UGL Major Projects division in Western Australia, supporting large Building Services Projects. As a Mechanical Site Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, ensuring timely execution of all mechanical installations.
You will coordinate with project managers and contractors to ensure alignment and adherence to project specifications. Conducting site inspections and audits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards are also key responsibilities.
As a technical expert, you will provide guidance and support to the construction team, troubleshooting mechanical issues as they arise. Managing project budgets and resource allocation for mechanical components, and preparing detailed project documentation, including progress reports, specifications, and compliance records, are also essential tasks.
About You:
- A 4-year degree qualification in Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering (recognised by IEAust) and at least 4 years' experience as a Mechanical Site Engineer.
- Experience working on large accommodation villages made up of modular buildings or similar types of projects.
- An Australian driver's license and strong communication skills (oral & written), including negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to establish effective working relationships with people at different levels both internally and externally.
