Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

This is an excellent chance to launch your career in childcare and early learning with YMCA WA. As a Trainee Childcare Educator, you will receive hands-on practical experience and formal learning to achieve a nationally recognised qualification.

You will be part of a dynamic team that creates a stimulating, positive and inclusive environment for children enrolled at our centres. Our educators are dedicated professionals who inspire young minds and support their growth and development.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for someone with good verbal and written communication skills to effectively assist children's learning and liaise with families and staff.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about providing quality childcare will thrive in this role.
  • A desire to grow professionally and personally, and commitment to studying and actively completing our 12-month traineeship are essential.
  • We want to invest in your future career as an educator, leader or manager.
  • A Current WA Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain) is required.
  • Previous experience caring for children is preferred but not necessary.

What We Offer:

Full-time employment with opportunities for permanent placement after completion of the traineeship.

Competitive hourly rate from $21.85 - $26.42 per hour depending on experience and age.
