We are seeking an experienced Communication Specialist to join our team in Victor Harbor, working 22.5 hours per week.

About the Role

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver a comprehensive range of speech pathology services to inpatients and the broader community.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide individual, group, and population health services, targeting at-risk and priority clients within the community.

Key Responsibilities

  3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and service providers to design and deliver targeted interventions;">
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure the highest standards of care;">
  5. Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based research.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

">
  • ">
  • A recognised qualification in Speech Pathology; ">
  • Eligibility for full membership of the Speech Pathology Association (SPA); ">
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills; ">
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ">
  • A proactive approach to developing and maintaining contemporary knowledge and skills in Speech Pathology.">

Working Arrangements

">

This is a permanent part-time position offering a competitive salary package.

">

The annual salary range for this position is between $68,478 and $83,594 (pro-rata), depending on your level of experience and qualifications.

">

In addition to your annual salary, you will also receive employer superannuation contributions and leave loading.

">

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.

">

Please note that this position requires a DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC), a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check, and a National Police Certificate (NPC).
