Supporting Students with Learning Difficulties

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our educational team as a support assistant. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of students with learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated support to students with learning difficulties in a secondary setting, promoting inclusive learning environments and fostering connections between students and their peers.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and other support staff to ensure each student receives tailored support and achieves academic success.
  • Communicate regularly with teachers and parents to report on student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive classroom atmosphere where every student can thrive.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support (or willingness to pursue one).
  • Passion for supporting students with disabilities and commitment to inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
  • Strong administrative and Microsoft Office 365 skills, with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
