Drive Business Growth with Data-Driven Insights

We are seeking a skilled Reporting Analyst to join our Human Resources (HR) function at Spotlight Group Holdings, a leading Australian retail company. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and providing valuable insights to support overall business growth.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term contract position for 18 months, offering a great salary base, superannuation, profit share, and a hybrid work arrangement. You will have the opportunity to develop and deliver comprehensive talent metric reports, manage and maintain all corporate workforce reporting, and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance within all HR systems and databases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze relevant data to produce high-quality written reports for HR-related papers, presentations, and other materials to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support organisational initiatives.
  • Manage and Maintain Reports: Manage and maintain all corporate workforce reporting, including monthly, board, annual, compliance, WGEA, and adhoc reporting.
  • Talent Metric Reports: Develop and deliver comprehensive talent metric reports.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance within all HR systems and databases.
  • Performance and Succession:
    • Develop and Implement Framework: Develop and implement a robust performance and succession framework for the Group.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on data reporting, data analysis, and performance reporting.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Business Analytics).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to visualize data effectively.
  • Experience with data manipulation and research, including extracting, cleaning, and transforming data from various sources.
  • Ability to analyse data from multiple sources and identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian employment legislation (Modern Awards, EBAs, FairWork Act).
  • Exceptional data analytics skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Proven experience in business partnering, consulting, negotiation, and facilitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
