Automotive Repair Professional

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Repair Professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in structural and cosmetic repairs on various vehicle models, including Tesla. They will be responsible for performing repairs in accordance with established procedures and using specialized equipment such as Celette Frame Jigs.

The successful candidate will also be proficient in MIG welding, metal finishing, and body filler application. Additionally, they will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing structural and cosmetic repairs on vehicles in accordance with established procedures
  • Using specialized equipment such as Celette Frame Jigs

  • Repairing exterior cosmetic panels via metal finishing and body filler
  • Replacing parts associated with collision repair, including body panels, suspension parts, and vehicle structure

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • 3+ years' experience as an automotive collision repair technician
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • I-CAR Australia Welding certification (an advantage)
  • Knowledge and experience with aluminum repairs and procedures
  • Proficient in MIG welding
  • Experience with heavy damage/structural repairs on prestige vehicles
  • Certificate in Collision/Body Repair and maintenance (an advantage)
  • Valid Driver's License and a good driving record
  • Capable of reading and comprehending automotive repair procedures
  • Strong written and verbal English skills
