About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Careers Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals in Canberra. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing workplace rehabilitation services to help individuals regain their independence and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' work-related needs, including worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment, and home evaluations.
  • Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and develop strategies to overcome them.
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to ensure seamless communication and effective outcomes.
  • Design, implement, and monitor customized programs that support injured employees in returning to the workforce.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Rehabilitation Counselling and full accreditation.
  • The ability to travel, with a current vehicle and driver's license required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • A keen sense of punctuality and effective time management.
  • Determination to consistently provide high-quality customer service.
