Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Job Description: As a Lead Educator and Early Childhood Development Specialist at Day One ELC, you will be responsible for leading a team of educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care. Your role will involve developing and implementing play-based educational programs that cater to the unique needs and interests of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of educators to provide high-quality care and education to children aged 1-5 years
  • Develop and implement play-based educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of children

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Proven experience in leading a room or similar setting
  • Working with Children Check and First Aid/CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
