We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, where accuracy and speed are crucial.

The Role

You will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of soil, water, and sediment samples. This includes tasks such as weighing, digesting, titrating, or solvent extraction of samples.

  • Preparing and analysing soil, water, and sediment samples.
  • Ensuring that preparation and analytical procedures are conducted according to quality work instructions.
  • Organising tasks to maximise daily efficiency.
  • Completing tasks within set timeframes and standards.
  • Highlighting anomalies in results and sample behaviour.
Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A genuine interest in the science industry.
  • Relevant TAFE or university qualifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Dedication to good laboratory practices and health and safety.
  • Flexibility to work public holidays and weekend shifts if required.
  • Willingness to be cross-trained in other sections of the laboratory.
  • Dedication to providing high-quality results.
