Material Data Officer Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Material Data Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the development, review, and validation of technical data and artefacts, as well as developing and implementing logistic support plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage ILS coordination & documentation to ensure compliance with JC2 SPO logistics policies.
  • Develop and implement SPO-level logistic support plans aligned with CASG policies.
  • Lead JC2 SPO compliance reporting and assurance activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and participate in technical meetings.
  • Manage SCAs and deliver services in accordance with SX000i, S2000M, S3000L, and S500F standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong data science and analytics experience within Defence, government, or professional services.
  • Logistics expertise and Defence systems knowledge, including MILIS, codification catalogues, and CMT-L.
  • Demonstrated completion of key logistics training, such as MLPC, Certificate IV in Logistics Management, or Diploma of Material Logistics.
  • Professional attributes: highly organised, action-oriented, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
  • Stakeholder engagement and values alignment, including collaboration, communication, and upholding CASG values and behaviours.
