At Vault Minerals, our Deflector OHST team is seeking experienced professionals to support the development of our operational team. We are a dynamic and cohesive company born from the recent merger.

Job Description

The Deflector Operation consists of two high-grade, narrow vein Gold/Copper mines, located 160km east of Geraldton. The ore is contained in a series of structurally complex lodes, namely the Deflector and Deflector South West deposits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver theory and practical training on the safe and efficient operation of various underground mining equipment.
  • Assess operator competency against site standards and regulatory requirements and issue appropriate licences or authorisations.
  • Conduct inductions and assist with the onboarding of new personnel into the underground mining environment.
  • Develop new training materials and update existing programs and procedures to ensure they meet current and future needs and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of trainee progress and training activities.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar position within an Underground Mining environment.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) is essential and Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (preferred).
  • Extensive experience in an underground mining operational role.
  • Experience in facilitating training and verifying competency.
