\About the Role
\We are seeking an experienced Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in Kemps Creek, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment availability, implementing safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
\Key Responsibilities

- Lead the engineering team, own annual reporting responsibilities, and mentor direct reports.\
- Work with site Safety and Site Leadership to implement, record, and audit safety and statutory compliance programs.\
- Implement standards validated by the AU Engineering team and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.\
- Maintain equipment failure contingency plans, coordinate rehearsals, and work in a flexible manner to ensure failures or breakdowns are rectified quickly.\
- Maintain a long-term focus by working with Site Management, Finance, the AU Engineering team, and internal design teams to plan for future growth, upgrades, or new equipment rollouts.\
- Ensure all statutory compliance requirements are followed to provide a safe working environment for all occupants of the building.\
- Work with the recruitment team to ensure allocated headcount is filled with high-quality experienced staff.\
- Support Apprentice and Graduate programs as needed.\
- Take part in network-wide improvement initiatives and implement standards created elsewhere in the network.\
- Acknowledge and respect traditional custodianship of country throughout Australia.\
- Contribute to creating a culture of safety within the team.\
- Develop and maintain equipment reliability and standards through design review processes.\
- Experience in automated conveyor systems and controls, electrical, and electronic principles, blueprint reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, and industrial electronics is desirable.\

- Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum (depending on experience).\

- Job Type: Full-time.\
- Experience: 5+ years in engineering leadership roles.\
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.\
- Certifications: Relevant industry certifications preferred.\
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively; proficiency in equipment maintenance and repair; knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance; experience with design review processes; and understanding of equipment reliability and standards.\
