About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Maintenance Engineer to join our team as an Equipment Specialist. As a key member of our RME team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment.

In this position, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance on a range of equipment within our site, adhering to safety regulations and policies, and providing high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on all site equipment.
  • Ensure health and safety best practices are upheld in all work activities.
  • React quickly to equipment breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected teams, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
  • Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and providing feedback and suggestions for improvements through your line manager.
  • Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks and general building maintenance.
A Day in the Life

As an RME Technician, you will be based on-site, allowing you to respond promptly to any machinery issues. Your primary focus will be on carrying out a range of planned preventative maintenance to ensure our sites' equipment operates safely.

You will also respond to breakdowns, investigating and implementing solutions as quickly as possible. Additionally, you will contribute to long-term improvements by suggesting changes and enhancements.

About the Team

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is dedicated to maintaining and troubleshooting equipment across our global network of fulfilment centres. We are a technically-minded team of excellent team players, guided by experienced leaders who foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology with current electrical trade license and mechanical knowledge or Certificate III in Engineering/Mechanical Trade (Fitter/Turner)
  • Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems
  • Experience in fault finding within Material Handling Equipment/Automation systems
  • Ability to read and understand electrical/mechanical drawings
  • Experience in conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters
  • Experience in working to appropriate health and safety standards and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in computer maintenance systems (CMMS)
  • Experience in sortation machines
  • Experience in an industrial environment
  • Experience in maintaining/configuring bar code scanners
  • Experience in print and apply machines
Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this role is between $90,000 to $120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
