Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Database Reliability Engineer III to join our Data Services team.

Overview

This is a critical role in ensuring the availability and integrity of our database systems. The selected candidate will work closely with our engineering and customer support teams to troubleshoot issues, develop infrastructure services, and maintain a deep understanding of data components.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain and operate properly configured clusters of large-scale cloud-based critical systems.
  2. Develop and implement infrastructure services to support devops model.
  3. Collaborate with Engineering and Customer Support to resolve time-sensitive production issues.
  4. Ensure the safety, security, and availability of petabytes of critical business data.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience with configuration management using Chef.
  2. Expertise in scripting languages including Python and bash.
  3. Deep knowledge of large-scale datastores using technologies like Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, and MySQL.
  4. Experience operating within cloud environments preferably Amazon Web Services, GCP, and OCI.
  5. Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams.
