Behaviour Support Practitioner Role

Humanity Health Group is seeking a compassionate and skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to provide education and support to customers and NDIS participants, focusing on participant goal attainment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver education and support services to participants, aligning with their goals and needs
  • Collaborate with other health professionals and stakeholders to provide comprehensive support
  • Accurately document progress and provide regular feedback to stakeholders
  • Ensure administrative requirements, including record keeping and billing, are fulfilled
Requirements:
  • Behaviour Support Practitioner registration or eligibility to become registered
  • Experience working with individuals with a disability
  • Passion for helping and assisting a diverse range of clients
  • Evidence of completion of the NDIS mandatory orientation module
  • High levels of verbal and written communication skills
Desirable Criteria:
  • BCBA or Behaviour Technician registration
  • Experience working in a clinical setting with individuals who have a disability
  • Clear understanding of the NDIS framework, funding, services, support categories, and procedures
