About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Practitioner to join our team at Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) Accommodation.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling lives, promoting their independence and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Clients: Deliver personalized support in a group home setting, assisting clients with daily living activities, personal care, and administration of medication.
  • Community Engagement: Facilitate opportunities for clients to engage with their community, promoting social inclusion and participation.
  • Client-Centered Approach: Foster a client-centered approach, supporting clients to make informed decisions and set goals that promote their independence and well-being.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for clients.

Requirements:

  • Availability: Available to work a minimum of 3 days per week, with flexibility to accommodate varying shifts across morning, afternoon, and overnight periods.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Hold a current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum).

Salary Estimate: Based on industry standards and location, the estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
