About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Management Director to join our Brisbane Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading large-scale construction projects and programs, managing a client-focused environment, and developing industry relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive business vision, strategy, focus, and goals.
  • Lead and manage construction projects and programs as the key client interface.
  • Establish and maintain a client-focused environment.
  • Take responsibility for stage gate governance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and leverage industry relationships and prepare strategies from a business generation and project delivery perspective.
  • Deliver an exciting team vision that inspires others to perform beyond their initial aspirations.
  • Support client organisations to develop and deliver major projects and programs efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage the development of cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
  • Lead a team across various infrastructure projects in the utilities and transport sectors.
Requirements
  • A minimum 15 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Full working rights and currently living in Australia.
  • A recognised Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Engineering, or similar.
  • Construction delivery experience in any one of the Aviation, Rail, Utilities, or Transport sectors.
  • Exceptional business development experience with a large network in the Queensland infrastructure market.
  • The ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • A track record of successful project delivery and engaging with and influencing clients and key stakeholders at a senior level.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report writing skills.
  • A reputation for challenge, innovation, and continued improvement.
  • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to clients.
Estimated Salary

$150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on experience.
