Job Opportunity: Administrative Support - Law Firm
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Support to join our team at AFL Recruitment. As an Administrative Support, you will play a key role in supporting our lawyers and ensuring the efficient and smooth running of our law firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data entry and typing/word processing legal documents/correspondence;
- Assisting property/commercial lawyers (ordering title searches and council zoning certificates);
- Arranging meetings/diary management and setting up meeting rooms;
- File management (opening & closing, filing, archiving, scanning, safe custody);
- Attending court registry to file documents and post office/banks;
- Assisting with accounts/billing;
- Back-up reception;
- Mail distribution/deliveries;
- General administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 months experience as a legal secretary/assistant/law clerk in a law firm OR office administrator/junior in any industry sector;
- Strong Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) and an accurate typing speed of minimum 55-60+words per minute;
- Highly self-motivated, teachable, adaptable and have a CAN-DO positive attitude;
- Highly organized and able to meet deadlines;
- Love to work in a vibrant, busy and fast-paced environment;
- Hungry to kick-start your legal career with a reputable law firm full-time.
