As a Senior Project Officer, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of infrastructure works and projects within a defined program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, plan and deliver small and medium sized community facility and open space infrastructure projects
  • Develop and manage project teams to deliver projects as defined by the client
  • Ensure stakeholders are consulted and updated throughout the project

  • Adhere to Council's policies and procedures, legislation, standards and requirements
  • Deliver projects in accordance with Council's project management framework and governance reporting requirements

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated Project Management experience in delivering Infrastructure projects

  • Exceptional at building and fostering meaningful and respectful relationships
  • Have an adaptable and proactive approach
  • Hold a Diploma in Project Management and/or equivalent knowledge
  • Hold a Certificate 3 in Landscape Construction - desirable
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Project Manager
  • Hold a Current 'C' Class Licence
  • Demonstrated Infrastructure trade experience and/or qualification – desirable
  • Demonstrated Landscape Construction trade experience - desirable
  • Hold Workplace Construction Induction Card (or eligibility to obtain)
