Role Overview

This Equipment Technician role is based in our St Ives depot and involves servicing and repairing a wide range of hire equipment and tools. You'll be responsible for maintaining the quality, safety, reliability, and availability of hire stock in a cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and repair equipment and tools to ensure they meet high standards.
  • Maintain workshop productivity, meeting company targets and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Identify and report product defects related to health and safety and reliability.
  • Ensure accurate service records are maintained and updated on our internal computer system.
  • Champion HSEQ practices and promote teamwork within the depot.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • A positive attitude, solution-driven mindset, and good problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and numerical skills.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
