Key Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Risk and Compliance function. This key role is responsible for the development, maintenance, and oversight of policy and process registries ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and promoting a strong risk culture.

Our organisation is embarking on a significant uplift and transformation of our risk management framework. The program will strengthen the foundations and uplift capacity and capability. Core Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures based on regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  2. Regularly review and update existing policies to reflect changes in legislation and emerging risks.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather input during policy development, facilitating workshops to ensure policies are clear and comprehensible.
  4. Maintain the Policy Register and manage the Exemptions Register.
  5. Lead initiatives to enhance our reputation as a center of excellence, fostering a proactive risk culture.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in risk policy development, preferably within the relevant industry.
  • In-depth understanding of risk management frameworks, procedures, and policies.
