We offer a comprehensive traineeship program that combines study and work experience. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Complete 2 weeks of full-time induction training
  • Work 3 shifts per week while being paid
  • Continue studying while working and earning a salary
  • Graduate with a Certificate III in Individual Support (PCA certificate)

As a PCA trainee, you will be paired with a buddy and supported by our team, receiving ongoing training and development opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building strong relationships with residents
  • Providing personal care assistance, including bathroom support
  • Serving meals and supporting residents during mealtimes
  • Supporting residents' wellbeing through activities and conversations
  • Maintaining resident rooms and performing administrative tasks

To succeed as a PCA, you must possess excellent communication skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to think critically.
