Chemistry and Neuroscience Research Specialist

Contribute to cutting-edge research programs in chemistry and neuroscience at the Dementia Research Centre. As a key member of our team, you will assist with drug development and testing, synthesizing and characterizing small molecules, and conducting binding assays and in vitro experiments.
">Requirements">- Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry, chemical engineering, engineering, material science, medical science, neuroscience, or related field.
- Proven knowledge of laboratory administration and experimental planning.
- Experience with medicinal and/or organic chemistry, and chemical analysis (including mass spectrometry, NMR, HPLC).
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques such as molecular binding assays, western blotting, immunohistochemistry, molecular biology, and cell culture.
- Strong understanding of laboratory health and safety practices and principles.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
