Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager to lead the delivery of projects that drive business transformation and minimize risk. This is a long-term contract opportunity based in Melbourne or Geelong.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive ICT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and budget-compliant outcomes.
  • Engage with ICT vendors and procure services and software following Commonwealth procurement rules.
  • Manage stakeholders and resources to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop project briefs, business cases, project plans, communications plans, test plans, change plans, operational readiness, and cutover plans.
  • Provide weekly project status reports, manage risks, issues, and dependencies (RAID), and drive Agile delivery in sprints (JIRA, MS Project).
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical ICT Project Management, with a proven track record in state or federal government.
  • Domain expertise in digital transformation, SaaS integration, COTS implementations, identity and access management, secure authentication, identity resolution, and fraud detection.
  • Strong Agile SAFe certification and well-developed communication skills to engage with Executive and external stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership ability to build and manage high-performing teams and relevant tertiary qualifications in ICT and project management.
