Senior Project Manager Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a long-term project in Melbourne, overseeing procurement and construction functions, site/project engineers, and ensuring timely, safe, high-quality project execution.
This is a critical role that requires a strong background in project management, with experience in leading teams and managing complex projects. You will be responsible for developing and implementing project plans, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that all aspects of the project are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including site/project engineers, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the project, ensuring that potential issues are addressed proactively.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all aspects of the project are delivered to the required quality standards, including adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- 7+ years of on-site construction experience with a proven track record on large-scale projects.
- Strong skills in program development, cost control, and risk management.
- Experience resolving design and coordination issues.
- Effective leadership and team management skills.
- Deep understanding of EHS, quality, and sustainability standards.
