Early Childhood Teacher Opportunity

This is a dynamic Early Childhood Teacher position that offers an exciting opportunity to shape young minds and create impactful learning experiences. As the second Early Childhood Teacher - Room Lead in our Kindergarten, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides exceptional care and education through a play-based approach.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will lead a team of educators, mentoring their growth and ensuring exceptional care for every child. They will also build strong relationships with families, keeping them informed and confident in the quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support educators to deliver contemporary early childhood practices and embed the Guardian Curriculum.
  • Champion the centre as a beacon of values: brave, positive, thoughtful, and professional.
  • Implement visible educational programs on Storypark, encouraging collaboration from families, children, and educators.
  • Maintain children's learning profiles and drive continuous improvement through self-assessment.
  • Join Leadership Councils to develop leadership skills, drive change, and shape decision-making.

Requirements:

  • A completed Bachelor in Early Childhood (or equivalent approved by ACECQA)
  • Prior experience in an ECT role (Essential)
  • Knowledge of National Quality Framework (NQS)
  • Working with Children's Check (QLD Paid Blue Card)
