Job Title: Governance and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled leader to oversee our company secretarial services, strategy, growth, and leadership. As a Governance and Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a small team of professional company secretaries and delivering high-quality services across our client portfolio.


About the Role:
  • Lead and Mentor Team Members: Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of professional company secretaries, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of high-quality company secretarial services, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strategic Growth: Define and execute a strategy to grow our GRC business, identifying opportunities for new products, service lines, or sectors relevant to the Perth market.
  • Clients Relationship Management: Build strong, trusted relationships with new and existing clients, providing exceptional governance services and advising on governance obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of professional company secretaries, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of high-quality company secretarial services, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strategic Growth: Define and execute a strategy to grow our GRC business, identifying opportunities for new products, service lines, or sectors relevant to the Perth market.
  • Clients Relationship Management: Build strong, trusted relationships with new and existing clients, providing exceptional governance services and advising on governance obligations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with ASX Listing Rules, Corporations Act, and governance best practice, acting as an outsourced Company Secretary for ASX-listed clients.

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and mentoring professionals.
  • Governance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of governance principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
