As a Category Procurement Specialist , you'll be responsible for managing strategic sourcing activities across one of the following portfolios :

Cabin Engineering - Focused on the seating category with development of other Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) categories.Operations - Ground handling, security, fleet presentation, customer service and other essential operational services.

This role will involve working closely with internal stakeholders to shape procurement strategies, deliver cost-effective outcomes and ensure supplier performance aligns with operational needs and business objectives. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, data-driven decision-making and procurement process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management or procurement in indirect spend areas.A tertiary qualification in Procurement, Business, or a related discipline.Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.Experience sourcing services such as consultancy, legal, insurance, recruitment, training or travel.Understanding of procurement best practices, supplier performance management and contract negotiation.Ability to manage cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, outcomes-driven environment.Proficiency in Microsoft 365, ERP and eProcurement tools.A commercial mindset and passion for creating procurement value beyond cost savings.
