Job Overview

This is an exceptional leadership opportunity for a seasoned manufacturing professional to drive operational excellence and spearhead business growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing Leadership: Provide strategic direction and technical expertise to ensure that manufacturing work meets design specifications, is safe, efficient, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Business Strategy: Collaborate with the Engineering and Manufacturing function lead team to develop and implement business strategies, policies, and procedures that align with company objectives.
  • Demand Management: Ensure effective and timely definition of demand for manufacturing technical capability (People, Tools, and Process) to meet business needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with key manufacturing customers and stakeholders to establish trust in our capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Senior Leadership Experience: Proven experience in manufacturing management, preferably in defence or heavy engineering industry.
  • Relevant Education: Degree in a relevant discipline in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or Project Management.
  • Technical Competencies: Strong analytical skills, ability to drive innovation, and critical thinking.
  • Communication Abilities: Highly developed negotiation and influencing skills with ability to use multiple leadership styles to motivate performance.
