About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Head of Talent Acquisition to lead our recruitment efforts and drive business growth. As a key member of our People and Capability Team, you will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment process - sourcing, screening, assessing, reference checks, and onboarding. Your expertise will help us identify opportunities to build applicant pools, identify potential candidates, establish trust and partnerships with hiring managers, and ensure a seamless hiring experience.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with various Business Units to determine recruitment needs.
- Post jobs through social media platforms, Seek, LinkedIn, and Intranet.
- Sourcing, shortlisting, screening, and reference checking to ascertain the best candidates for the job.
- Provide feedback to management about details regarding applications.
- Book pre-employment medical requirements, review results, and escalate if needed.
- Administer and submit all hiring paperwork for new employees.
- Managing hiring processes through PageUp.
- Gather mandatory qualifications, licenses, and other documents.
- Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.
- Communicate and report progress thoroughly with hiring managers and management.
Requirements:
- Recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment and shutdowns is a bonus.
- Knowledge of maintenance and SMP trades desirable.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage time and priorities.
- Ability to build relationships.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Superior problem-solving skills.
- Natural affinity for people.
