Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Coordinator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors on-site to ensure zero harm, zero defects, and timely project delivery. This role includes supervisory accountabilities for both team and subcontractor performance, contributing to the success of projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring the consistent adoption of safe work procedures.
  • Develop and implement Quality, Safety, and Environmental (QSE) plans and work procedures in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Supervise and manage on-site activities, supporting the site team in problem-solving and managing day-to-day operational risks.
  • Train and develop site teams, ensuring they have the right skills, attitude, and support to succeed.
  • Oversee team performance to meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor site productivity and report to the Project Manager, promptly identifying and addressing variations and delays.
  • Conduct safety pre-starts, toolbox talks, and inspections, and manage safety incidents in conjunction with the Project Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience within the construction industry, particularly in concrete works, steel repair, structural remediation, cathodic protection, and facade upgrades.
  • High level of organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to be a hands-on supervisor and work on the tools as needed.
  • Strong understanding of safety guidelines and regulations as they relate to construction projects.
  • Experience with safety documentation preparation and implementation.
  • Clean full driver's license.
  • EWP Ticket, high-risk license, and forklift license are advantageous.
