Job Title: Family Trauma Therapist
We are seeking an experienced clinician to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team working in a unique trauma-informed program for vulnerable families and children at risk.
About the Role:
This is a challenging yet highly rewarding opportunity for a skilled therapist to provide evidence-based interventions to families experiencing trauma.
Main Responsibilities:
- To conduct comprehensive assessments of family functioning and identify areas requiring support.
- To develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the needs of each family member.
- To provide education and guidance to parents on effective parenting strategies and coping skills.
- To work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting vulnerable families.
Requirements:
- A degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field, with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed practice.
- Proven experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly those affected by trauma.
- An understanding of attachment theory and its application in therapeutic settings.
