Residential Caregiver

About the Role:

HammondCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Carer to join our team. As a Residential Carer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, helping them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and support to residents, including showering, grooming, and toileting
• Assist residents with daily living activities, such as dressing and undressing
• Support residents with dementia and other complex needs
• Recognize and respond to changes in residents' conditions, reporting any concerns to the Registered Nurse or Manager

Requirements:

• Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives
• Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts, including nights and weekends
• Value teamwork and be able to work independently, showing initiative and a willingness to learn
• Have knowledge and experience of working with people living with dementia and their needs
