About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Carer to join our team at HammondCare Waratah. As a Residential Carer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including showering, grooming, and toileting
  • Engage residents in life-enriching activities and promote social interaction
  • Support residents with dementia, recognizing and responding to their changing needs
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
  • Experience in aged care, with a passion for serving elderly people
  • Good availability during the week and weekends, with flexibility to work morning, afternoon, and night shifts
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality care
  • Knowledge and experience of people living with dementia and their needs
