About the Role


Nuix is seeking an experienced Quality Engineering Director to lead our quality engineering team in delivering high-quality software solutions globally. As a key member of our technology organization, you will be responsible for driving a culture of continuous improvement in testing practices that supports Nuix' software development practices and philosophy of "always releasable" software.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead a team of quality engineers in delivering all software testing globally across Nuix.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies, processes and tools to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, program management, sales consulting and product support, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Manage vendor partnerships and relationships to ensure strategic goals are met and opportunities are leveraged.
  • Make informed commercial decisions that meet organisational quality engineering needs.

Requirements



  • 7+ years managing quality engineering teams with proven experience in testing best practices, testing frameworks, test data management and continuous integration practices.
  • Seasoned leader with experience in managing and developing quality engineering teams within a technology organization.
  • Highly experienced in working with and managing vendor partners.
  • Highly experienced in working with and managing offshore teams.
  • Familiarity with agile development and continuous integration practices.
  • Strong knowledge in testing best practices, test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) and testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with functional teams both inside and outside of the Software Engineering organization.
  • Ability to balance technical and leadership responsibilities effectively.
  • Passionate about leadership, collaboration and innovation.
