We are seeking a dedicated Regional Wellbeing Consultant to support school leaders and staff across the Far North Queensland Region.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by fostering safe and supportive school environments, ensuring staff feel valued and equipped to thrive.
A key focus will be on psychosocial wellbeing, including supporting school leaders as part of a multi-disciplinary team to manage issues related to occupational violence and aggression.
Experience in rural and remote settings would be highly regarded and will further strengthen our team's ability to meet the unique needs of the region.
Key Responsibilities:- Progress staff wellbeing through the region by consulting with key regional staff and providing expert advice to school based and regional staff in relation to staff wellbeing.
- Lead the regional coordination, promotion and implementation of health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Liaise and collaborate with schools and regional teams to provide expert advice on staff wellbeing planning, initiatives and supporting resources.
- Provide regular reports to the Regional Office and Staff Wellbeing team on regional and school progress with respect to addressing and supporting the wellbeing of staff.
- Deliver engaging wellbeing presentations and workshops on staff wellbeing as required at conferences and forums to assist in developing staff capability.
- Establish networks, collaborate and liaise with key stakeholders across the department and from other agencies and organisations to successfully implement health and wellbeing initiatives throughout schools in the region.
