Faculty Officer (Timetabling)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused individual to join our team as a Faculty Officer (Timetabling). As an Officer, you will be responsible for providing support to faculty staff in managing their timetables and ensuring that all academic activities run smoothly.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and guide team members to deliver against individual, team and University goals.
  • Role model professional and ethical behaviours, consulting with available sources to gather relevant information and seeking expertise and advice from others as appropriate.
  • Clarify expectations and respond promptly to customer requests, queries or complaints to ensure customer needs are met to agreed standards and timelines.
  • Presents information in a clear and structured way, communicating concisely by focusing on key messages and checking that messages delivered are understood.
  • Actively seek to maintain positive relationships and support team members in times of pressure and change.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or a Completion of an Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or a Completion of a Post-Trades Certificate or Advanced Certificate and extensive relevant experience as a Technician; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Experience in using timetabling systems within a university environment, or experience maintaining a complex database.
  • Demonstrated data literacy and proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and attention to detail, including the ability to apply these qualities in a professional context.
