Gas Fitting Opportunity

The position of Gas Fitter is available at Origin's LPG Energy Markets Business in Bulwer Island, Brisbane. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for providing gas fitting services for the installation and maintenance of gas equipment at customer and terminal sites.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Complete new installations within specified time frames and in compliance with required codes and standards
  2. Ensure all work is conducted safely by adhering to permit to work system
  3. Maintain accurate records in accordance with statutory and company requirements
  4. Provide expert advice on gas installations to customers
  5. Review existing installations to ensure compliance with industry standards and company codes

Requirements:
  • Full Queensland type A license
  • Exposure to LPG and Natural Gas
  • Prior domestic experience preferred
  • Full Queensland type B License desirable
  • Experience in servicing, breakdowns, and installation of gas appliances
