Disability Support Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking a caring and supportive individual to join our team as a Disability Support Worker.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to clients in their home environment, promoting independence and dignity at all times.
  • Assisting with general household duties such as cleaning and cooking, ensuring a safe and healthy living space.
  • Offering personal care services including assistance with daily living activities.
  • Facilitating access to community resources, empowering clients to participate in their communities.
  • Transporting clients to appointments and social activities, ensuring timely arrival and departure.

Requirements:

  • A minimum Cert III in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent experience.
  • Current National Police Check within the last 12 months.
  • Valid Western Australian driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • At least 6 months of previous work experience in aged and/or disability care.
  • First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Working with Children Check or ability to attain one.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module or willingness to obtain.
  • Passionate about empowering individuals and promoting independence.
  • Highly organized, flexible, and reliable individual with excellent communication skills.
