Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Mechanical Technical Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in mechanical maintenance and engineering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for learning and applying mechanical principles across a variety of plant equipment and machinery, assisting with preventive maintenance, and supporting the team in carrying out corrective maintenance and repairs.

This role offers a chance to gain hands-on experience in pneumatics and hydraulics systems, develop skills in machining techniques, and work alongside experienced tradespeople to understand fault-finding and troubleshooting processes.

In addition, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to complete a Cert III in Mechanical Engineering Trade while actively participating in on-the-job learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completed or currently completing Year 12 schooling.
  • Interest in mechanics, maintenance, or engineering.
  • Willingness to undertake a formal mechanical trade apprenticeship.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
