This is a permanent part-time & full-time opportunity, with flexible days and relocation costs partially covered. As a leading NDIS provider, we deliver exceptional care and support to over 2,200 clients and members, empowering individuals with spinal cord injuries, physical disabilities, and neurological conditions to lead accessible, equitable, and empowered lives.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
• Conducting thorough client assessments to understand and address their physical needs;
• Trialing and recommending appropriate equipment to optimize client functionality;
• Preparing and managing funding applications to secure essential assistive technology and supports;
• Advocating for clients' personal support needs and assisting with funding applications;
• Providing expert advice on equipment and lifestyle management, including pressure area care;
• Completing assessments for home modifications and submitting detailed reports;
• Empowering individuals through tailored strategies and advocating for their lifestyle choices;
• Delivering hands-on upper limb therapy in both individual and group settings.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
• Current AHPRA registration and a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy;
• Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate caseloads independently;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Proven track record of achieving high-level outcomes for clients;
• Experience working with individuals with Spinal Cord Injury or physical disabilities preferred;
• Familiarity with fee-for-service environments advantageous.
