
Senior Pharmaceutical Facilities Manager

The role of a Pharmaceutical Facility Manager is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of facilities within the pharmaceutical industry. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily operations of all facility functions, including maintenance, safety, janitorial services, GMP scope, compliance, landscaping, pest control, IFM scope of Hard and Soft services.
- Develop and implement facility management policies, procedures, and standards to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
- Manage facility budgets, including planning and allocation of resources for maintenance and improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to facility operations, including safety, environmental standards and manufacturing process.
- Lead and manage a team of facility staff and contractors, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Plan and oversee renovations, refurbishments, and building projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure facilities meet regulatory and company standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs and ensure seamless facility operations.
- Respond to emergencies and facility-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or similarly regulated industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP) are a plus.
- Knowledge of GxP & GMP practices.
- Full, unrestricted work rights in Australia.
