
Transport Planning Specialist

Job Title:
A transport planning specialist is required to develop and implement sustainable movement strategies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of transport infrastructure management principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop and manage transport plans that meet the needs of stakeholders and contribute to efficient, safe, equitable and sustainable movement networks.
- To conduct modelling and investigate changes in trends, usage, service levels, regulatory requirements and standards for transport infrastructure.
- To provide professional advice and technical support to management, executive and council in matters relating to transport infrastructure management.
- To collaborate with other teams to deliver projects and achieve organisational objectives.
Requirements:
- A degree qualification in civil engineering or equivalent.
- A current unrestricted 'C' class national driver's licence.
- Experienced and accredited road safety auditor.
- Ten (10) years of relevant industry experience.
