Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioural Support Practitioner Team Leader to join our dynamic team. As a leader, you will be responsible for conducting functional behaviour assessments, developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans, and providing training and coaching to a multi-disciplinary team.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct functional behaviour assessments across home, school, and community environments.
  2. Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelines.
  3. Work collaboratively with clients, families, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams.
  4. Provide training, coaching, and capacity building to a multi-disciplinary team.
  5. Monitor and review the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments as needed.
  6. Prepare comprehensive, compliant documentation and reports within required timeframes.
  7. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and evidence-based practice.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of Behaviour Support Clinicians.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong background in Behavioural Support and NDIS guidelines. A degree in a relevant field is essential, along with significant experience in a similar role.
