The purpose of this role is to improve timely immunisation coverage in Aboriginal children.

This position involves working with parents, communities and immunisation providers to ensure Aboriginal children are vaccinated on time.

  • A relevant qualification or equivalent work experience in health or community services is essential.
  • Aboriginality under section 14D of the Anti-Discrimination Act is also required.
  • The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of working within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Australia, as well as a commitment to engaging with these communities in Northern Sydney Local Health District.
