About the Role

The Business Intelligence Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions within an organization. This role will play a pivotal part in data modelling and designing reporting databases and business intelligence systems, enabling effective reporting and analysis of organizational data for both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the team lead to create optimal physical data models of datasets and maintain data maps and systems interrelationship diagrams for data domains and systems.
  • Act as a point of contact for staff requiring business intelligence and report writing assistance.
  • Provide technical expertise within the organization and develop and maintain metadata information including data dictionaries, data lineage maps, and entity relationship diagrams to facilitate analysts and business users in finding relevant information for analysis and development of data tools such as dashboards and machine learning models.
  • Establish and nurture productive and consultative relationships, essential for delivering outcomes.
  • Offer expert advice on data concepts and usage and contribute as a subject matter expert to various projects.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of an organization's reporting database.
  • Identify data gaps and lead the development of new data sources.
  • Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into a central data warehouse.
