Diagnostic Scientist
We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Scientist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for performing diagnostic testing and contributing to the development of new assays.
About the Role
- Perform routine procedures from specimen reception to result execution for pathological diagnosis, including specimen dissection.
- Assist with stock control and maintain current scientific knowledge.
- Maintain equipment and operating procedures in line with protocols.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding test results or referrals.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge within the discipline.
- Sound knowledge of QC, QAP, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to identify and develop quality and service improvement activities.
