Wind Technician Opportunity

Commissioning work on a wind farm in QLD is underway.

Several opportunities are available for experienced commissioning wind technicians to join our project team.

Initial 12 months worth of work is available with the opportunity to move onto a 5 year contract.

This role is suitable for expatriates who are looking to work in Australia. We can assist with the mobilisation and visa process for this role.

There is also an opportunity to move into a service role once the commissioning stage is complete.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning work on wind turbines
  • Electrical completions and troubleshooting
  • Responding to and resolving turbine issues that arise
  • Promoting safe work practices
  • Conducting continuous improvement through measuring, reporting and achieving performance indicators and site objectives
  • Performing hazard and risk assessments according to company policies and procedures

Nordex Delta 4000 turbine experience is highly desirable.

Applicants must have worked on wind farms and associated equipment across electrical or mechanical disciplines.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have demonstrated past experience on construction of a wind farm, hold GWO BST and BTT certificates and provide evidence of your qualifications.
