Job Title: Paintshop Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Paintshop Supervisor to lead and supervise the paint and blast team, ensuring excellence in daily operations. This permanent position requires a hands-on approach, working closely under the direction of the Paintshop Manager to drive production forward.

Working Hours:

Standard shifts are Mon - Fri 6am - 2:30pm. Must have flexibility to work 10hr days and weekends where required; currently, roughly 56hrs Mon-Sat are available.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the production team to meet daily targets.
• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of production to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery.
• Maintain and enforce safety protocols and adherence to company policies.
• Monitor and track production KPIs, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Delegate tasks effectively and report progress to the Workshop Manager.
• Complete necessary paperwork and ensure product quality standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with WH&S guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

• Car and licence, and ability pass a full pre-employment medical.
• Previous experience in the steel industry with painting & blasting using 2 pack paint & airless spray guns.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
