About the Role

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 AUD.

This role involves working with top-tier teams to find creative solutions, restructure businesses, and recover value on behalf of stakeholders. As a restructuring advisor (Manager), you will work on a diverse range of engagements across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver tailored restructuring and insolvency strategies for corporates, Government, and regulatory bodies
  • Manage teams across multiple workstreams
  • Mentor junior staff, focusing on knowledge sharing and skills development
  • Analyse financial information, identify issues, and prepare recommendations for clients
  • Assist clients in evaluating and understanding their business performance and position
  • Create and implement innovative solutions to address client challenges, including selling assets, reorganising capital structures, or trading on businesses
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Professionally Qualified background (Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant)
  • Four to six years' experience in restructuring, consulting, audit, or professional services
  • Experience in restructuring and insolvency, with a desire to focus your skillset in this area
  • Curiosity, empathy, integrity, and strong interpersonal qualities
  • A team-oriented mindset, excellent analytical skills, and advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel (or willingness to learn)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients at all levels and across the organisation
  • Structured problem-solving skills, organisation, and project management capabilities
  • Commercial awareness and business acumen, combined with advanced emotional intelligence
